Codex Atlanticus

October 25, 2020 | Culture

Codex Atlanticus is an information design project that allows users to explore the content of the Codex Atlanticus, the largest existing collection of original writings and drawings by Leonardo da Vinci. For the first time, this interactive application will give users both a general overview and detailed look at the topics contained in its pages.
In collaboration with the Biblioteca Ambrosiana and thanks to the images provided by Mondadori Portfolio, The Visual Agency has conceived, developed and promoted this study tool which transforms data visualisation into a language of analysis and synthesis and reveals the evolution of Leonardo’s thought over the years, through the interactive visualisation of his main body of work.
