More than 240 million people were living in a country other than where they were born in 2015 alone. Among them are refugees and asylum-seeker, fleeing their homeland because of war and violence. Many are moving to a different country looking for a better future for themselves and their children.

The reality is the world we live in is on the move as never before. Looking backward and country by country, this project aims at depicting a rough picture of where the migrants come from and where they go.
